A core value of Harvest High School is the involvement of parents. We believe that parents play a more important role in the education and personal development of their child than the teachers.
For this reason, we encourage parents to get involved in the following way:
- Parent Advisory Committee - through this committee parents have valuable input into the running of the school. The Parent Advisory Committee is made up of elected representatives that the school consults on a regular basis.
- Teacher-Parent Contact - Parent Evenings are held at the beginning of each term. This time is used to discuss each child individually with his/her parent.
- Fund-raising - The school is always looking for ways to generate income. Parents are an indispensable asset when it comes to raising money and creating an awareness of the school.
We encourage parents to contact the school with any questions or suggestions they may have.
